Our Story Begins

MURI was born from the eyes and heart of Mansi Parikh — an Indian soul raised on color, craft, and storytelling. After moving to the U.S. at 18, Mansi found herself missing the vibrance woven into everyday life back home — the bold hues, flowing fabrics, and the effortless elegance of Indian clothing. What she longed for wasn’t just fashion, but feeling — a sense of warmth, energy, and identity that seemed to fade in the neutral palettes of the West.

Committed to Sustainability

Determined to bring a piece of her homeland to the world, Mansi returned to India years later and immersed herself in its rich textile traditions. From block print villages to embroidery studios tucked away in corners of Gujarat and Rajasthan, she witnessed generations of craft passed down with care. That journey sparked the idea for MURI — a brand that honors India’s heritage through modern, wearable art. What began as a personal calling has grown into a community of creators and wearers, all connected by color, craft, and soul.
